Aliben Technology's "Human Exhalation Gas Detection Mass Spectrometer" has obtained the National Medical Device Registration Certificate
Recently, the "Breath-TOF MS 2000" independently developed by Liben Medical Equipment (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aliben Technology, has officially obtained the "Medical Device Registration Certificate of the People's Republic of China" issued by the Sichuan Provincial Drug Administration (Registration Certificate No. [Chuan Xi Zhu Zun 20242220009]).
What is exhalation testing?
Traditional disease screening methods have limitations such as insufficient medical resources, low compliance, and unsatisfactory sensitivity and specificity. However, the application of breath testing in the field of early screening for cancer has received considerable attention. It is on the eve of the industry outbreak and has the advantages of convenient, fast, accurate, non-invasive, and low-cost testing. It has the foundation to promote large-scale testing and screening in hospitals at all levels.
Human exhaled breath detection mass spectrometer
After nearly 20 years of dedicated research, the R&D team of Liben Medical Instruments (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. has independently developed a number of high-performance human exhalation gas detection mass spectrometers, and has obtained several patents such as "lung cancer staging detection system based on VOC metabolic profile", "breast cancer biomarker in breath and its application in breast cancer diagnosis", "exhalation VOC marker and detection system to distinguish gastric cancer patients from healthy individuals".
Breath-TOF MS 2000
The Breath-TOF MS 2000 breaks through the technical limitations of traditional GC-MS capillary chromatography separation and uses photon and its corresponding composite total ionization technology to excite the outer valence electrons of organic molecules or inorganic gases, achieving real-time and non separation detection of the tested gas sample. The response time can be as low as 0.2 seconds, greatly reducing the analysis time. Full spectrum soft ionization, where a single molecule only produces its corresponding molecular ions, makes the spectrum highly recognizable and enables simultaneous ionization of all VOCs and inorganic gases in the sample gas, achieving true high-throughput rapid analysis.
Advantages and highlights: With high sensitivity and resolution, the detection limit can reach ppt level, and trace analysis is accurate. A single instrument can achieve qualitative and quantitative detection of hundreds of gases simultaneously, breaking through the bottleneck of exhaled gas diagnosis and detection equipment. On the premise of ensuring high accuracy (accuracy exceeding 90%; missed detection rate within 10%), it has achieved low cost, high accessibility, and non-invasive.
