Good News! Our Company Successfully Approved to Establish "High-End Analytical Instruments Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center"

Recently, according to the requirements of the "Reply on the Approval to Establish the High-End Analytical Instruments Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center" (Chuan Development and Reform Innovation Letter [2024] No. 762) issued by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, our company has been successfully approved to establish the "High-End Analytical Instruments Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center."

01 High-End Analytical Instruments Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center

The "High-End Analytical Instruments Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center" is established with Chengdu Aliben Technology Co., Ltd. as the main entity, in collaboration with Sichuan University, Southwest Petroleum University, the Institute of Mechanical Manufacturing Technology of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, the National Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, and CNNC Xiapu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.

The center starts with the research and development of high-end analytical instruments, with the core mission of safeguarding major national strategic needs, aiming to build a domestically leading and internationally renowned high-end analytical instrument R&D base. Focusing on the R&D needs of domestic high-end analytical instruments, the center will tackle key technologies such as laser ablation, microwave plasma torch atomic emission spectroscopy, high-temperature ion sources, ion funnel interfaces, and online mass spectrometry, providing support for the innovative development of the high-end instrument manufacturing industry.

02 Introduction to Chengdu Aliben Technology Co., Ltd.

Chengdu Aliben Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2016 by Professor Duan Yixiang, an internationally renowned scientist in the field of analytical instruments and a national high-level overseas talent. The company aims to undertake the transformation of achievements from national major scientific instrument development projects, primarily engaged in the forward development of high-end mass spectrometry and spectroscopy analytical instruments, as well as the development of VOCs medical diagnostic products.

Since its establishment, the company has won 1 first prize of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 first prizes of the China Instrument and Control Society Science and Technology Progress Award, and its products have won 3 BCEIA Gold Awards. The team has been selected as a high-level innovation and entrepreneurship team under the Sichuan Thousand Talents Plan. The company has applied for 61 patents, with 41 authorized (including 18 invention patents), 12 software copyrights, 4 CPT international patent applications, and has participated in the formulation of 1 national standard and 3 industry standards.

The approval to establish the "High-End Analytical Instruments Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center" is a recognition of our company's role as a leader in the forward independent R&D of high-end analytical instruments in the province. The establishment of the center will further promote the innovative development of high-end analytical instruments in Sichuan, driving the transformation from "Made in China" to "Intelligently Made in China."
