       On May 17-19, 2023, the "Davos Forum" of the Chinese scientific instrument industry - the 16th China Annual Conference on the Development of Scientific Instruments - was grandly held in the capital city of Beijing. Academicians and experts from research institutions, leaders of industry associations/societies, representatives of renowned testing institutions and enterprises, and senior leaders of well-known domestic and foreign instrument companies gathered together to share the moment of honor.

Award Background:

    The China Annual Conference on the Development of Scientific Instruments (ACCSI) is a high-level industry summit in the scientific instrument industry, known as the "Davos Forum" of the scientific instrument industry. It is a high-level platform for relevant Chinese government departments, business and academia to engage in dialogue on the development strategy of China's scientific instruments and related industries. It gathers industry consensus, disseminates industry voices It has played an important and positive role in promoting cooperation between industry, academia, research, and application, and is an annual scientific instrument event with significant influence in China.
The "3i Award for Instruments and Testing", also known as the "3i Award" (Innovative, Interactive, Integrated), began in 2006 and is one of the most authoritative awards in the scientific instrument and testing industry both domestically and internationally. The 3i Award relies on industry authoritative experts and tens of millions of users who have cooperated with Xinli for a long time to evaluate and select innovative products that represent technological development trends, recognize outstanding enterprises, entrepreneurs, and R&D figures with special contributions in the scientific instrument and testing industry, etc. Currently, there are 12 permanent awards. The "Special Contribution Award for Scientific Instrument Industry Research and Development", as one of the 12 awards, aims to encourage scientific and technological workers who have been working hard on the front line of scientific instrument research and development for many years, making special contributions to scientific instrument technology innovation, transformation of scientific instrument technology achievements, and high-tech industrialization of scientific instruments. The aim is to mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of scientific instrument research and development personnel, and accelerate the development of China's scientific instrument industry.
The "Special Contribution Award for Research and Development in the Scientific Instrument Industry" is awarded to no more than 2 individuals annually. Up to now, the award has been successfully selected for 9 sessions and 10 winners have been born.


       Professor Duan Yixiang, Chairman of Aliben Technology, attended the annual meeting as a special guest and shared his personal research and development experience and industry outlook at the "i100 Summit China Science Instrument Industrialization Summit Forum" on May 18th. He also conducted in-depth discussions with multiple industry expert representatives on major issues such as challenges and opportunities in the Chinese science instrument market, the successful path of efficient and high-quality industrialization of scientific instruments, and the challenges of manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading, The scene was extremely exciting.

Professor Duan Yixiang shares entrepreneurial experience


 Personal Introduction:
Duan Yixiang, professor of Sichuan University, doctoral advisor, chairman of Chengdu Ailiben Technology Co., Ltd. Since 2010, he has entered Sichuan University to carry out relevant scientific research, and founded the Analytical Instrument Research Center of Sichuan University, which is mainly committed to the research and development of high-end instruments such as new mass spectrometry technology, laser spectroscopy technology, plasma analysis technology and corresponding analysis methods, focusing on the research and development of new mass spectrometry instruments such as UVP-TOF MS and PTR-TOF MS based on ultraviolet light, and successfully used them for real-time navigation analysis of VOC in the ambient atmosphere, And early diagnostic research on non-invasive major diseases using exhaled breath from the human body.
More than 200 SCI papers have been published and nearly a hundred patents have been applied for both domestically and internationally. Received multiple awards, including the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society of Instrumentation and Meters, the Zhu Liangyi Analytical Instrument Innovation Achievement Award, and the Gold Award of the 17th/18th Beijing Analysis and Testing Academic Report and Exhibition (BCEIA 2017&2019).


       From 18:00 to 20:00 on the same day, the "3i Awards: Instrument and Testing Chart Awards Ceremony" was held grandly, awarding 12 heavyweight awards including Excellent New Products in the Scientific Instrument Industry, Green Instruments in the Scientific Instrument Industry, and R&D Contribution Award in the Scientific Instrument Industry.
Professor Duan Yixiang, Chairman of Ailiben Technology, won the 16th "Special Contribution Award for Scientific Instrument Industry Research and Development", becoming the only recipient of this award this year.
